Call for Entries for Artists
The Alquemie Project is dedicated to the belief in the transformative power of art to support humanity and build community. The Alquemie Project is announcing its fourth annual Art Exhibition and is seeking entries of artwork reflecting the truth, beauty, and wonder in the natural, imagined or created world. This juried art exhibition is sponsored by Jolie Tea Company.
Preferred mediums are of oils, acrylic, gouche, watercolor, pastel, and mixed media. Final works of art are not to exceed 30” x 30”. Accepted submissions must be framed or on wrapped canvas ready to hang.  A maximum of 3 original works may be entered per artist. No entry fee.
One Grand Prize Winner, $1,000 cash award.
Artwork Selection Criteria
Depiction of truth, depiction of beauty, depiction of wonder, overall aesthetic value, and quality of artistic composition and design.
Exhibition Schedule
April 18, Online entry opens for submissions
May 23, Deadline for entries
May 30, Notification to 9 finalists will be sent via email
June 1-5, Final 8 artworks delivered to Jolie Tea Company
June 7-9, Exhibition open to the public
June 7-8, Public voting open
June 9, Winner announced, prize awarded  
Procedures for
submissions, selections, and final exhibition
All submissions will be made online via the Alquemie Project event page. Selection of the top 9 artworks based on the above criteria. Notification of selection will be given to 9 finalists and arrangements will be made to deliver artwork to Jolie Tea Company at 316 Derby Street, Salem, MA for a public exhibition. On June 7th and 8th, public viewing and public voting will take place. On June 9th the winner will be decided based on scores from the panelists and the public voting. Award winner is announced and prize awarded on June 9th. 
A Special Invitation For The Winner...
The winner of the Alquemie Project 2024 is invited to be our featured artist at our Jolie Tea Company Beverly location during the Beverly Arts Festival on the following Saturday, June 15 where we will display your work during an artist reception. If the winner declines we will then offer this opportunity to the runner up. 
Please join us on the final day of the Salem Arts Festival for an Artists Reception at Jolie Tea Company, 316 Derby Street, Salem, MA on Sunday, June 9th, 3-5pm.
